Job Description


Privately Owned Construction Company is currently seeking a full time Warehouse Manager/Delivery Driver. This position is responsible staging and unloading material and equipment in the warehouse and delivering materials to job sites. The firm offers excellent salary and benefits.

Responsibilities:


WAREHOUSE MANAGER
• Operates forklift in order to pick orders or receive in stock.
• Uses forklift to load and unload pipe and other material from flat bed and/or box type trailers.
• Pick orders.
• Lift boxes of material to and from locations for shipping and receiving processes and procedures.
• During packing confirm correct material pulled during picking process.
• Ensure all materials are packed properly.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Handles additional tasks necessary to fulfill the needs of the company and the customer as deemed necessary.

DRIVER
• Follows maps or written directions to deliver to jobsite
• Uses good judgment in assessing jobsite conditions and safe unloading
• Obtains valid signature on all delivery documents
• Follows all DOT and licensing requirements as needed
• Lift boxes of material to stage in desired containers for shipment.
• Operates available equipment to ready crates and boxes for loading process.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Handles additional tasks necessary to fulfill the needs of the company and the customer as deemed by the warehouse lead.

Requirements:


• Minimum of 6 months in a previous driving, and warehouse or material handler positions.
• Basic keypad and/or keyboard skills.
• 1 year working in a multitask environment while under time constraints.
• Basic arithmetic skills required using whole numbers and decimals.
• Valid and current driver license

Project Engineer (Recent Graduate) - Listed 8/24/21

Niram is seeking job candidates for the Project Engineer position at new construction project(s) in the NY and NJ area. The Project Engineer assists in the management of site logistics, progress reporting, subcontractor coordination, submittal processing, safety and other required communications. The position reports to the Project Manager. This is an exceptional opportunity to develop expertise as a construction professional through immediate exposure to all disciplines of unique and challenging projects.

Responsibilities:


Responsibilities of the Project Engineer include, but are not limited to:
• Maintaining document management
• Maintaining daily progress reports and logs
• Coordinating tradesmen and sub-contractors
• Coordinating and processing submittals
• Ensuring adherence to safety requirements
• Ensuring adherence to logistic requirements
• Assisting the management team as needed

Qualifications:


Qualified candidates will possess:
• BA/BS in Construction Management, Construction Science, Engineering, Architecture or similar
• Prior working experience in a construction or related business
• Comprehension of construction drawings and specifications (preferred)
• Comprehension of construction means and methods (preferred)
